Reception
Roxanne Vassala........has
been the head of the reception office at our hospital for the past
three years. She has always worked with pets and children.
Presently she is enrolled at the New York School of Dog Training
and we expect her to be a certified groomer by the January 2005.
Roxanne is married and has four pets of her own. Chickie
and Tippy , both Ccihuahuas, Candy a American
Pitbull and Meesha, her Devon Rex hairless cat. She
takes good care of all our clients special needs for diets food,
vitamen supplements and presciption refils.
Jenny
Medina........has been a veterinary receptionist
at another large Westchester County animal hospital where she
worked for four years. She brings enormous experience and
empathy to our front desk. Her knowledge of what in important
and what might be critical helps us make quick accurate decisions
throughout the day. The front desk can be very demanding but Jenny
always keeps a cheerful attitude and that goes along way toward
creating a smooth operating, confident atmosphere.
Management
Lynn Sinclaire,
V.T.......a really dedicated Veterinary Technician, she has
been involved with animals since graduating from Veterinary
Technician School in 1975. Initially she worked at Post Road
Veterinary Clinic for 4 years and then moved to California. Out
west she worked in emergency clinics, house call practices and
several Los Angelas area animal hospitals. Since 1991
she has been the hospital manager for both New Rochelle Animal
Hospital, P.C. and the South Wilton Veterinary Group.
Lynn can do it all, from the front desk, to the laboratory, to the
treatment and surgery rooms, the kennels and of course the
management area. Call on Lynn if there is a major problem that you
need help with. She has also been certified as a dietician and has
some working holistic knowledge that she can share with you.
Technicians
Raphael
Artiles, D.V.M......graduated Veterinary School in 1980 from the
Universidad Autonoma Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He
was in goverment practice for ten years and then in private
practice for two years. He emigrated to the United Staes with his
wife in 1989 and has been the head Veterinary Technician at New
Rochelle Veterinary Hospital, P.C. ever since. He has worked with a
variety of specialists in surgery, ultrasound, exotics and
diagnostics. Raphael and his wife became U.S. citizens in 1998 and
they have two sons attending New Rochelle Schools.
Stephanie Alexander.
L.V.T....graduated from Veterinary Technician School at Laguardia
College. She has worked in numerous veterinary hospitals, emergency
clinics and referral centers. Unfortunately she only works
occasionally with us as her skills are in such demand. She is
extraordinarily gifted with a gentle and caring touch , expert
technique and a big heart. She also seems to adopt and then
find homes for cats monthly. However there always seems to be a
dozen or so cats at her residence, at leaast.
Ainmal Care Technicians
Lisa Santos....our
kennel manager has worked at several animal hospitals and
facilities in New York City, the Bronx and now New Rochelle. The
kennels are always spotless, neat and inviting. She keeps a good
eye on the the comings and goings and makes sure every ones pet is
fed, watered and cared for just as if it was her own. The best in
the kennel..She manages all this and four kids too.
Laurie
Tolentino....lately of Kansas, has worked in the veterinary field
as a handler and facilities manager . She brought lots of
practical experience to our pet care team after working in
veterinary office in Kansas.Throughout the day she accomplishes so
much and always takes care to do things thoughly and
completely. We are lucky to have her on our staff.
