Dr. Gina K. Antiaris attended Quinnipiac College and received a B.S. in Veterinary Technology in 1996. She became a licensed veterinary technician and worked as a technician for two years in several animal hospitals and with a board certified surgeon before entering veterinary school. She received her veterinary degree from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies, in september of 2003. While she was there she volunteered, assisting local farmers and at small animal and exotic clinics. Completing a year of clinical study at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine she rescued the newest addition to her furry family, a Springer Spaniel that was supposed to be put to sleep by a research facility. Gina currently has 2 dogs, a Labrador Retriever and a Springer Spaniel, a rabbit and a Greater Sulphur Cockatoo (parrot). She is licensed by New York State, is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and The American Animal Hospital Association and is certified by the United States Department of Agriculture so that she frequently writes health certificates for pets travelling overseas. Gina loves and has always loved animals and she is looking forward to meeting you and providing every opportunity to help you and your furry family members. |
